I am currently so busy that it is difficult for me to take on new regular students at the moment. You are more than welcome to be in touch, but I may not be able to make any promises. It may be easier for me to take on people wanting occasional lessons.
Piano lessons, Organ lessons & Music Theory lessons in Chichester
Tim Ravalde teaches the piano, organ and music theory in central Chichester.
Tim teaches people of all ages and has helped to prepare students for Grade 1 exams, Fellowship diplomas, and everything in between; he is equally happy teaching people who don’t want to go anywhere near an examiner. Some of his students come every week; some come so infrequently that he isn’t sure if he is still teaching them. Most are somewhere in the middle. Some people come for one lesson and decide that’s enough. All of this is fine.

When he isn’t teaching on the organ of Chichester Cathedral, he teaches on a 2-manual Hauptwerk instrument that sounds like this:
He is the organ tutor at the University of Chichester and teaches the piano at the Prebendal School. He is a Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music in Piano Performance, a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists, a music graduate of Cambridge University, and a widely experienced performing musician.
